March 28, 2025 - This year’s Comal ISD swim season ended with two state championship titles for one Davenport High School athlete; a third-place bronze finish for a Pieper High School girls relay team; and 40 state qualifiers from four high school programs.
Caleb Bristow, a DHS junior, won gold medals in both the 50 freestyle and 100 freestyle races in the UIL 4A state meet, establishing a new state record in the 50 with a 21.32 run. With these titles, Bristow is one of the best swimmers in Texas.
